The Twentieth International Conference on Information Technology and Journalism, was held at the Inter-University Center in Dubrovnik, May 25 – 29, 2015. The conference was organized by the Institute for New Media and E-democracy (InMed), together with Department of Journalism; Faculty of Political Sciences, (University of Zagreb) and Department of Information Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, (University of Zagreb).
This year we celebrate 20th anniversary of ITJ conference. Main subject of this year’s conference was: Media Convergence.
On the first two days of the Conference (25-26 May 2015) IPSA Workshop was held. This year the main topic of the Workshop was: “Changes in journalism: rethinking existing forms”. Workshop was organised with a high support of RC10 – IPSA’s Research Committee 10 on Electronic democracy and Faculty of Political Science in partnership with DEL research network, what sets it high in the map of the international scientific conference.
The conference in Dubrovnik confirmed again, that Croatia have become inevitable in developing the field of political science. The hosting of well known and acknowledged scientists like Nenad Prelog, Damir Boras, Inoslav Bešker and many other domestic and foreign scientist on conference has undoubtedly made its contribution to the development of modern political science.
